The Marion Cross School is contacted by local businesses and non-profits to make our parents aware of upcoming opportunities. We publish information that directly supports or enhances our Pre-K-6 population. Please note that these are not school sponsored events.

City Center Ballet – that has dancers from each of your schools – is presenting their much loved, abridged version of The Nutcracker known as Clara’s Dream virtually this year. Would you please consider placing the below in your Friday newsletter to parents?

Watch Clara’s Dream, a nutcracker story at home!

From December 18, 2020 – January 31, 2021, experience the moments of joy and the magic of City Center Ballet’s Clara’s Dream, a nutcracker story — virtually!  Center Ballet has filmed a virtual experience we are calling Clara’s Sweet Dream that can be enjoyed on almost any device that connects to the internet.

Tickets are $18 – with only one ticket required per family/household!

You must watch within 48 hours of purchasing your ticket! You can watch again and again during that two day period!


New Food Pantry information for residents of Hanover and Norwich

There's a new food pantry in the region. It's supported by the Haven, hosted (outside) by The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, and organized by the Hanover Community Food Security Team. It operates Saturdays from 11 am-1 pm, in the church's driveway (40 College Street). It is open to anyone who's short on food. No registration needed but masks will be required.
