Message From the Principal
Chat with the principal night was well-received from those who were able to attend. Much time was spent talking about different supports and what qualifies a student to be eligible for a support. I appreciated the opportunity to listen to questions and concerns about the topic. In addition, other topics raised were indoor recess, snow/ice buildup on the sidewalks, the concept of taking recess time away from children, class sizes, and opportunities for parent volunteers. I look forward to future chats!
Thursday was spent with classes doing various fall clean-up tasks around our school. Students did a variety of work including raking leaves, pulling invasive species, putting the garden to bed, maintaining the outdoor learning space, and much more. Hopefully you noticed a difference when coming on campus.
Thank you to all who sent in items to help with breakfast. We received a number of items and a couple extremely generous donations. If you would like to continue to donate we are always in need of the basics - eggs, orange juice, bagels, muffin mixes, and fresh fruit. Thank you again for your kindness.
Enjoy the weekend,
