Mayfest
Every year, on a Thursday of May, we celebrate Mayfest. Students from every grade sing and do traditional dances out on the Norwich Green (weather permitting). Sixth graders dance with garlands they've made, and later they "compete" against each other with ribbon designs during the maypole dances.
Mayfest is quintessential Marion Cross School. It's a collaboration between students and teachers and parents and community members. It's a celebration of the arts. It's a celebration of life.
It's worth seeing, if you are able; and you are welcome. You couldn't ask for a better opportunity.
