Local Action Plan

Vermont Act 60 requires schools throughout Vermont to write and implement a Local Action Plan (LAP), designed to improve the performance of all students in the school. The plan is developed by a team of administrator, teacher/staff, parent, community and School Board members. This team reports to the School Board on a monthly basis at board meetings.

The plan is developed using student performance data obtained from local and state assessments. The plan is approved by the School Board. The action plan contains:

• Goals and Objectives for improved student learning and well-being

• Educational strategies and other initiatives designed to achieve these goals

• Success criteria

You can pick up a copy of the 2005-06 Local Action Plan in the main office of the school. You can also view (and download or print) PDF files of the LAP, available in the same format as the printed version.

Goal #1 - Writing
Goal #2 - Mathematics

You can view these files within your browser if you have a PDF viewer plug-in, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
